Der französische Reifenhersteller und europäische Marktführer Michelin hat offenbar Interesse an der Reifensparte der Continental AG. Das sagte Michel Roller dem Wirtschaftsmagazin „Wirtschaftswoche“.

Sollte sich im Zuge der Übernahme der Continental AG durch die Schaeffler-Gruppe die Gelegenheit zu Kauf ergeben, werde Michelin sie „mit großer Aufmerksamkeit prüfen“, erklärte Roller dem Magazin, „auch wenn es kartellrechtliche Probleme geben könnte“. (ar/Sm)

    Das wäre mal ein interessanter Deal, wobei sich das für den Autofahrer nicht gerade positiv auswirken dürfte. Ich schätze die Preise für die Endverbraucher dürften darunter leiden.
